I love The Bar Method workouts

barreAs I was laying in bed this morning, trying to motivate myself to workout…I went through my barre workouts in my head. I have already done Pure Barre this week (love it!) and it kicked my tooshie. I thought about doing Cardio Barre, but I have a race (5K) tomorrow morning that I want to be able to run. I immediately thought of Bar Method. I always work up a good sweat and get shaky legs when I do one of Burr’s workouts. So I got up and popped her Accelerated Workout in. I forgot how intense this workout was! My arms, legs, calves…I was shaking literally from head to toe. I know that I got a good burn in because I could literally feel the heat coming off my quads doing the exercises. The Accelerated Workout doesn’t incorporate the pretzel, but does have a standing variation which really got into my glutes. Burr also included back dancing, which I am growing quite fond of. I would definitely call this morning’s workout a huge success! I was invigorated, just the right amount of sore and feeling very tall, thanks to all the stretching. I cannot wait to do it again!! I’m loving this month full of barre workouts!!
