I’m a shoe ADDICT. And before I went vegan I bought leather shoes. (I know, I know…) Now, I don’t want to waste and just throw things away, but I am slowing donating my leather shoes as I have the money to replace them. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a money tree yet, so this will most likely be a slow process. I have, however found a few AWESOME shoe brands that are vegan (sometimes accidentally). You should still read the product information, since I’m never sure when they’ll pipe something in leather. But good best are Payless Shoes (almost always by accident, and not all vegan), Sugar Shoes, TOMS, Merrell and others. I even found a pair of Franco Sartos that are vegan! The same goes for belts and purses….
Essentially, I read labels (kinda like grocery shopping, only ALOT more fun!!) and make sure that my *new* shoes are all man-made materials…. And don’t forget to check the interior AND the sole! Animal products can sneak up on you if you aren’t looking!! I’m currently on the prowl for some SUPER CUTE wedges…if you find any, let me know!

I just did a blog post on the best vegan shoe websites. Check it out. And I know for sure that gojane.com has the best vegan wedges for very decent prices. Definitely an easy way to replace all that leather
