First of all, thank you to everyone who has been so wonderfully supportive of my funk the last few days. Your words of encouragement and insight helped me more than you can know. *virtual hugs for everyone* I think that I actually owe my newfound motivation to all of you wonderful cyber friends. I woke up this morning and really didn’t feel like working out (yet again), but I remembered all the wonderful things that had been said and all the support I recieved yesterday and decided to STOP FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF. Afterall, things can only get better if I improve my outlook at this point. So, I got my toosh out of bed and shuffled into the living room (one great thing about Bar Method and working out at home is that I can do it in my PJs!) and put The Bar Method Body – Designer Sculpting in the DVD player. I rolled my fluidity bar into position and started warming up. About 5 minutes into the workout, I started to feel like ME again! Hooray! It is always SO amazing to me how much exercise improves my outlook on life. I was also amazed to discover that my munchies have miraculously disappeared…a happy (and unexpected!) side effect. I’ve been munching on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING (don’t worry…it was ALL VEGAN), I think out of stress and frustration. Thankfully, with that behind me, I can focus on eating good healthy foods, getting exercise (this morning proved to me that I HAVE TO WORKOUT every day…or suffer dire consequences) and enjoying the moment. It’s good to have the real me back…hopefully I can continue to see positive changes. My next challenge is to get back to doing my FlyLady routine…. If you haven’t checked out her books: Sink Reflections
& Body Clutter: Love Your Body, Love Yourself
, you should. FlyLady has great advice on staying ahead of clutter, messes and stresses. I’m inspired to shine my sink tonight!!
