SQUEEZE YOURSELF STRONGER GIVEAWAY

51obnbim9pl_sl160_Getting fit is a journey, and it takes time, energy and a LOT of effort. In order to make real change, you have to make a real commitment. I am someone who likes variety in my workouts, especially if I’m not seeing results. Reflecting on this, I realize that I’ve had quite a few workout “phases”. The one workout that I keep coming back to is Squeeze. I starting using Squeeze Stronger because I enjoy barre workouts, and it looked like a huge challenge. I was NOT disappointed. The DVD has 3 preset workout options, which provides variety: full workout, lower body and abs or upper body and waist. The full workout is over an hour, and there is NOT a muscle that doesn’t get worked. The first time I did  Tracy Effinger’s Squeeze Stronger (fitness workout), I was sore for almost a week. Not sore in a bad way, but the muscles that hurt were new to me. I’ve since figured out (for me, at least) that alternating the upper and lower body workouts every other day seems to work best. I absolutely LOVE the shoulder work in Squeeze Stronger! I have yet to use more than 3 pound weights, though. IT IS TOUGH!! My favorite segment for lower body is the pretzel/clam combo. It targets your glutes from EVERY angle. Not kidding. The stretching afterward is WONDERFUL, too!! I am finding that I am increasing my flexibility as a result of these workouts, which was a nice (and unexpected) bonus. I love this workout so much, I wanted to share it with everyone. When I asked if I could possibly give a copy away, Tracy Effinger (the creator) said YES! AND the giveaway includes a copy of her amazing book: The Squeeze Down e-book! The Squeeze Down includes diet tips, with a focus on clean eating. It also details out a 5 week, change-your-body rotation. The book is INDISPENSIBLE! Diet is a huge part of changing your body. When you combine clean eating with Tracy Effinger’s Squeeze Stronger (fitness workout), you WILL see results! Tracy’s advice is easy to follow, with lots of great whole foods choices (which I get REALLY excited about). Now that you absolutely HAVE TO HAVE this great combination, you’re probably wondering what you have to do to be entered in this amazing opportunity…and it’s pretty simple:

To enter to win a FREE copy of the ebook The Squeeze Down AND Tracy Effinger’s Squeeze Stronger (fitness workout), simply respond to this post with the reasons behind your motivation to Squeeze…. Do you want to lose weight? Tone up? Start a new workout program? Improve your diet? Share your goals! And be detailed…why do you need to Squeeze yourself STRONGER?

  1. I would love to have this workout because it would be a completely different workout than anything I have ever done and I believe it would be an excellent workout for my muscles without adding any harmful impact to already stressed joints. I love a new challenge and anytime I can expand my exercise knowledge I get excited!

  2. I would love to have squeeze fitness because it appears to be a great work out and I would help strengthen my wrist back up over time. I would also love to try a new work out and introduce the work out to my mom as well. As a nutrition student this would be great to try out several work out visit so I can recommend exercise videos to potential clients and honestly know how the exercise works.

  3. This would be perfect for me! I’m currently doing a training program to compete in a half-marathon in October. However, even with running over 100 miles every month for 3 months so far, I just don’t look toned, and I certainly am NOT happy with how I look. I’m so glad that I fell in love with running again, because I know that I’ve gotten healthier and stronger. But I want to fall in love with myself again…I want to stop looking in the mirror and wanting to cry. I want to be comfortable wearing a t-shirt that fits a little, as opposed to all the baggy shirts I wear now. I want to wear ALL my clothes again, because they fit…not because I can “just barely squeeze” myself into them. I would rather squeeze my body into a fit, toned and hot body than try to squeeze my unhappy body into clothes that only sort of fit!

  4. The Squeeze Yourself Stronger program looks so fun! I am just about to run a 1/2 marathon and have really enjoyed the journey of getting more fit than I ever thought I could and attaining a fantastic goal. As I wind up training for this goal, I’ve find myself needing new and different activities. First, I have acquired some injuries due to a lack of strength training. I need to start being smarter and stronger :) . Second, my major goal will be reached in a week. I need a new goal and fresh ideas to keep me going. Finally, I would love to do something I’ve never done before. How great to start a new adventure! Thank you for the opportunity.

  5. I would love to have this workout. I am looking for workouts that offer variety. I’m bored with the gym machines. I’m looking for workouts that challenge me and do more for my body than just give you a traditional workout. I like to workout in ways that not only tone and strengthen but also require you to engage the core. I’ve had alot of muscle tightness in my legs and lower back. When one area is tight it pull on other areas. I refuse to live like this any longer. I believe this workout would help me so much to strengthen weak areas.

  6. I would love love love to win this. I am just getting in to running and eating to live. My father passed in April and it made me realize that I need to take care of myself and my diabetes so that I can be here for my children. I am also so sick of being the fat mommy. I want to be the trim, fit and healthy mom that runs and plays with her children
    Thank you for offering this!

  7. I’ve been working out, religiously, for 18 months and find that I am at the brink, of yet another, plateau – ugh. Well I rotate all of my workout dvds and have added running into my routine this year. I need something new – something harder and more challenging. I LOVE a challenge and this workout and book sounds like something I would adore. I love to feel the burn, so to speak! I love discovering that my body really can do things that I never thought possible (after a few workouts, at least.) This sounds like something totally different and exciting and new. Brea has NEVER steered me wrong – so I know this is a workout I would enjoy. And I love the idea of the book giving you the 5 week, change your body rotation. I love to follow instructions and if it’s laid out for me – I have no other choice but to obey it! :)

This is a great give away and anyone would be very luck to win it!!! Thank you for the opportunity to help me continue my weight loss journey and to one day (sooner rather than later) reach my maintenance stage :)

  8. All of the above? I want to lose weight, tone up and get stronger. The Mister and I are planning on TTC when football season kicks off this fall and pregnancy and birth both strike me as the kind of things that are easier to work your way through when you’re in good shape. If only there was a way to prepare yourself for sleep deprivation…

Currently, my strength training is coming from Buff Brides. It’s a great assortment of routines that worked wonders for me before my wedding. However, two bad things are happening: 1) I’m not really seeing any further improvement and 2) It’s getting boring. Boring is really the greater sin (even without noticable results, at least I’m working out). The less interesting a workout is, the less likely I am to do it (knitting is always more interesting than a dull workout). And, when I’m bored, I tend to half-ass it, which doesn’t do me any good. This is exactly the thing I need to spice things up again!

  9. I would love this DVD. I have used The Bar Method and love it but am ready for a new workout! It’s time to get fit! Woo hoo!

  10. I have started and stopped my weight loss journey more times then I can even remember. Being only 25, I have been struggling with weight my entire life since I grew up an overweight child. And to add insult to injury, I have a sister that always has and always was a perfect size 2—she barely gained weight even during her pregnancy! In high school, I would sit and watch my sister on the dance team in her shining Spandex with all the other girls—high kicking, looking beautiful…but band was where I fit in, where our uniforms luckily covered up everything I wanted to hide.

Even through college and into adult life, I never weighed below 180 pounds, and being only 5’1, you can imagine how I carried it. I always seemed to want to lose weight, but I just didn’t want to put in the work, give up my comfort eating or stick with it long enough to see any difference.

The big change came in my life when I decided to get a Polar F11 hear rate monitor. Now, I had a new kind of number to judge my weight-loss journey, instead of just the scale. Before, I would start a healthy habit, then weigh myself every day to see a change. By the end of a week, or two weeks, when nothing happened on the scale: I gave up. But now I had a nifty little device that told me how many calories I burned every time I exercised. I could set a goal for how many calories I wanted to burn each week and could get a trophy icon on the watch if I met my goal. That moment, the number on the scale stopped becoming important, and how I felt the things I could achieve physically was what drove me. So I challenged myself.

I had NEVER liked running as a kid, but on the treadmill in the gym, that’s what got my heart rate up and made me burn the most calories for my time. I started the Couch to 5k program and remember thinking, “I have to run for FIVE minutes?! I don’t know if I can do that!” But I pushed myself and I made it. Then before I knew it, I was signed up for my first 5k and could jog the entire distance. I added a second 5k and then my friends urged me to come along for a 10k. *Gasp* I didn’t think I was able to do this!

It was a struggle, as my whole journey has been. But I crossed that finish line, and I didn’t walk one bit of that race. I did run slowly, but I finished strong.

So this is where I am currently—I know I can do cardio for a good long time and I really need to focus on building muscle. I have a personal trainer who I meet with once a week, but when I’m not with her, I get gym shy. I don’t like being in the “Man Area” aka free-weights zone, and so have taken to doing a lot of this stuff at home. I was urged to get the Bar Method DVD’s and chose to have my legs shake and quake in the comfort of my own home. I love these work-outs (Brea was the one who introduced me to them) and if Brea likes them—I know I would too!

My whole journey has been not just about weight loss. That is what is happening because of the new habits I’ve been creating. My journey is about finding myself again—knowing what I am able to do, feeling great about myself and how I look naked! I think adding a program like Squeeze Stronger to my arsenal will add muscle on my changing body, show me more positive results and carry me through to my end goal.

I need to re-tailor my eating plan too and really scrutinize what I’m putting in my body instead of just counting the calories. The cleaner and better I’m eating, the cleaner and better I’ll feel…but I need some guidance in this area too. I’m pre-diabetic and I think that a cleaner diet will eventually get me off my medication for my insulin resistance and will lead me far away from becoming a full-blown diabetic

Since my heaviest weight, I have now lost 45 pounds! But I am kind of at a crossroads—what’s next? I still have another 40—50 pounds to lose, so I need revitalization in my exercise life. I think Squeeze Stronger and the Squeeze-Down e-book are going to give me the boost to take me to the next level.

I have seen success, but have also come from failure. My momentum has slightly slowed down and I think that getting the Squeeze Stronger with the e-book would be a great kick in my booty to help me continue on my healthy journey to becoming a healthier, more beautiful and confident woman. And I’m ready to be the second skinny-Minnie in the family!

Thanks for reading (sorry I wrote a BOOK!) and thanks to Brea for giving us this opportunity!!!

  11. i would looove to squeeze myself and not be holding a roll of fat!

i love cardio at the gym and running. i also looove the weights, but i need something i can fall back on if i get snowed into my house or need something different. based on the reviews for tracy’s workouts, this definitely looks like something i could get into and get some results!

  12. I would love to win this because I’m currently struggling, and I would love to try a new workout to reignite my workout. I’ve been learning (slowly) to run, and this seems like something that might help me increase strength to improve my running.

I’ve lost 60 lbs. so far, and I’m stuck on the last 10 pounds. I think this workout may be just what I need to kick those last 10 lbs. to the curb.

  13. I just would like to try a new fitness routine. I think it would cheer me up.

  14. I have been exercising pretty consistently for 8 years or more. I lift weight 2-3 times a week, do various cardio (anything from kickboxing to walking) and practice yoga. However, even if I workout for an hour to 2 hours a day my body doesn’t really change. I’ve tried light weights and high reps, heavy weights and low reps, body weight only , kettlebells etc and even though I did get stronger my body didn’t really change visually.

I eat a pretty clean diet: fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean meats etc. I’m perimenapausal (sp?) and according to my doc this is why nothing really changes. He claims this is part of getting older and one should just accept the anevinable. Apparently I can’t do that and keep trying anyways.

Even though I’d still like to lose 10-15 pounds my problem isn’t so much weight as it is tone. If I could just tighten up my trouble spots I’d be a happy camper. I’m looking for a workout that can accomplish that and I hope squeeze stronger is that workout. It appears much different that any other workout that I have and I have a ton (currently have about 200 workout dvds). I don’t enjoy going to the gym and much prefer to workout at home.

You have a rockin body Tracy. If you got that body doing this program then I definately need this workout. We have the same body type so if I could look half as good as you I’d be over the moon :) I don’t want to look different I just want to look better: Tight, Toned and Sculpted.
