I posted last week about missing a workout because I wasn’t feeling well…and then I ended up missing ALL of my workouts because I just didn’t feel any better. In fact, I did not workout this morning because I wasn’t sure that I was back to a point where I should be pushing myself. I feel better this morning after sleeping in, and I think that I can go back to running my intervals and barre workouts. At first I was incredibly frustrated that I had this hurdle, but then I realized that maybe I’ve been overly focused on working out. Because I was sick, I was able to make some incredibly healthy meals, some great salads AND even discovered that my Omni absolutely LOVES Sarah Kramer’s black bean chili from La Dolce Vegan!: Vegan Livin’ Made Easy. I added some chopped crimini mushrooms to give it a meatier flavor, and voila! He asked me to make it again THIS WEEK (which is great, because I love this chili). I’m glad that it all worked out…and I cannot WAIT to get back to my regular workouts TOMORROW! YAY ME!

I sure am glad you’re feeling better! being sick sucks! I didn’t even feel bad last week – and still missed most of my workouts. Just was so physically tired! But I hope you stay well….only 6 more months

I’m glad that you are feeling better! I know I also hate being sick and missing out on my workouts. The good thing is that you listened to your body and gave it a rest. Good luck with the rest of your training.
