<p>So, how&#8217;s your week going so far? Mine is FANTABULOUS. Why? Since you asked&#8230;</p>

<p>Yes, I want a different dehydrator, but (on a happy note), my <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BIA6KA/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=bregetfitadvi-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B000BIA6KA">spiralizer</a><img style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=bregetfitadvi-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000BIA6KA" alt="" width="1" height="1" border="0" /> showed up TODAY. And I&#8217;m gonna make some PASTA! Oh, AND, I finally got a sprouter. I love sprouts&#8230;I&#8217;m actually a little bit obsessed with them. A LOT OBSESSED. They&#8217;re yummy, great for you, and RAW. YAY! So now I can make my own sprouts, germinate legumes, and generally be a happy camper in my raw little world. The only thing I&#8217;m missing is a larger dehydrator. Don&#8217;t stress, though. I&#8217;m saving up for it.</p>

I got the dishes, laundry, floors, and couches (de-kitty-fied) done, did 20 minutes of pilates (my legs are hurting for some reason), AND picked up my 1/2 share of a local, organic coop! I have the most BEAUTIFUL fruit and veggies filling my fridge!! I cannot WAIT until tomorrow when I get to make an amazing salad. YUM! I also ran by the health food store and picked up some grains and other staples that I was out of. With HealthKwest winding down, I&#8217;ll be cooking quite a bit more, so I wanted to be prepared.</p>
<p>Speaking of HealthKwest&#8230;I made it to Genghis for lunch today and chowed down on an awesome Thai Tofu bowl. Smalls had a blast playing with Natalie and generally being spoiled rotten (who wouldn&#8217;t?). My bowl was super delicious and nutritious, and contained peppers, mushrooms, tofu, brown rice, sesame seeds, and red curry peanut sauce. YUMMY!</p>

Made the hubs lunch, gave Smalls lunch&#8230;forgot that <em>I</em> need to eat. So (shocker) when dinnertime-ish rolled around (like 4:45 pm), I was suddenly STARVING! Thankfully, I was able to run to Genghis and get a yummy Tahi tofu bowl with tofu, spinach, mongo mix, brown rice, and peanut curry sauce. YUM!</p>
<p>And then there&#8217;s the workout&#8230;I did get a walk in this morning (thankfully!), but my plans to do some pilates&#8230;well, they stayed just plans today. Tomorrow, though, I&#8217;m ALL OVER IT! Maybe I&#8217;ll do some quiet yoga to help stretch out my super sore back (carrying Smalls around is a workout in and of itself&#8230;does that count in the real world?)&#8230;.</p>

YUM! I will admit that I moved at a snail&#8217;s pace today-Smalls was up and down ALL NIGHT (every 1.5-2 hours), so I didn&#8217;t get much sleep. Due to that, I was EXTREMELY hungry, which is slightly frustrating because I&#8217;m pretty sure that the scale will go UP tomorrow morning. At least it&#8217;s just temporary, right?</p>
<p>To combat my ravenous appetite, I did 45 minutes of pilates, which worked up quite a sweat. YES, you CAN sweat while you do pilates, and then did TA&#8217;s leg workout with ankle weights&#8230;and then I cleaned house in them. MY LEGS ARE KILLING ME. I never claimed to be a genius, but I at least hoped I would avoid the pain&#8230;. At least I know that I got a REALLY good workout!</p>

Mostly because I didn&#8217;t sleep well, and that makes everything hard. Or at least seem more difficult. Today I took an official rest day (yes, I know it&#8217;s only Thursday), but I wanted to get it out of the way before I jump feet-first into Metamorphosis (review coming SOON!). I have read and re-read all of the materials (and admittedly there aren&#8217;t a ton&#8230;), and I am SO excited. I want to start off on a fresh foot, so I&#8217;ll be doing measurements and posting them tomorrow. I will also be starting over with my weigh-ins and updates&#8230;since Metamorphosis is a change every 10 days, that&#8217;s the schedule I will follow (it will help keep me sane). I am SO excited! Did I mention that? Alright&#8230;I&#8217;m tired, it&#8217;s been a long two days, and I feel that I deserve to rest tonight. Tracy&#8217;s gonna kick my booty in the morning!</p>
<p>As for food, I enjoyed another Thai Tofu bowl from Genghis, and it was SO yummy! Doesn&#8217;t it look absolutely DELICIOUS?! I also had brunch today, rather than breakfast. I had to go do my official weigh in (more on that later), and because they drew blood for lipid panels, it was a fasting visit-thus, no breakfast. So I had brunch. It was yummy! Here&#8217;s what I ate:</p>
<p>Brunch: Pita pizza with a spinach salad</p>
<p>Snack: almonds with grapes and pita chips</p>
<p>Dinner: Thai Tofu bowl</p>
<p>Snack: 1 scoop of chocolate soy ice cream</p>
<p>That&#8217;s all, folks! Wish me luck tomorrow!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Do you ever have one of those days where NOTHING goes as planned? Today, I did. I&#8217;m proud to say that I didn&#8217;t let it temper my mood. Instead, I decided that I had a choice: I could either have a great day or a <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">crappy</span> not so great day. I chose great (for those of you who are wondering). Why was today great? Here&#8217;s the list:</p>
<p>1. I got a whole 5 hours of sleep!</p>
<p>2. Smalls didn&#8217;t take a nap until 2:30, but then he slept for 3 1/2 hours.</p>

<p>4. I had a Bayou Bowl with tofu for lunch.</p>
<p>5. I got my TA 30-day Method done.</p>
<p>6. I just found out that Tracy came out with a NEW workout: Metamorphosis. It looks AMAZING! (check back to see my review once I get it!!)</p>
<p>7. I got applesauce AND sweet potato puree made for Smalls&#8230;and he LOVES both. Score one for MOM!</p>
<p>It was a great day. It&#8217;s all in how you view it.</p>
<p>My food log:</p>
<p>Breakfast: Kashi &amp; milk</p>
<p>Snack: 1/2 cup mango sorbet &amp; a tofu salad sandwich (open-faced)</p>
<p>Lunch: Bayou Bowl (YUM!)</p>
<p>Snack: Grapes with almonds</p>
<p>Dinner: Pesto &#8216;squashetti&#8217; with a green salad</p>
<p>Snack: A small handful of whole grain pretzels</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>You read that right. I got suckered by a cupcake. Not really suckered so much as tricked into eating it. Okay, I admit it. There was no trickery involved. I ate them. And you know what? I enjoyed EVERY bite. And NO, I do not feel bad about it. I had a cupcake. I LOVED it, and I&#8217;m not sorry. So there. (and yes, it was a VEGAN cupcake made by MOI!) Why is this such a big deal? Well, BEFORE I started appreciating myself so much, I would have eaten half a cupcake and beaten myself up, then given up on my &#8216;diet&#8217; for the day. Yeah. That <em>was</em> me. It&#8217;s not anymore.</p>
<p>I realized that a cupcake is nothing to be ashamed of. It&#8217;s JUST a cupcake for crying out loud. I have a munchkin who is going to have birthday parties, events, and school functions that have cakes, cookies and pies. And I am NOT afraid of them. I can have a little, then move on. I could have eaten 2 or 3 (or 4)&#8230;but I didn&#8217;t. So HA! Brea 1, Cupcakes, 0!! I cannot let food control me. It&#8217;s absolutely absurd that I used to be scared of sweets. They&#8217;re just FOOD. And food is good for you in [small] reasonable quantities. I don&#8217;t want to live my life worried about how I&#8217;m going to react at the bake sale, or when I go to a party.</p>
<p>That being said, I will admit to a weakness for mushrooms. I realized today that I&#8217;m putting them in my bowl nearly every day.</p>

<p>Not the worst thing that I could be craving!</p>
<p>I did exercise today-just some Tracy Anderson Method, though (Smalls didn&#8217;t take his nap until 4:00 pm today, so it was a little bit crazy around here!!). And&#8230;I&#8217;ll Zumba tomorrow!!</p>
<p>So besides the cupcake, I ate&#8230;</p>
<p>Breakfast: Kashi &amp; milk</p>

<p>Lunch: &#8216;Fried&#8217; rice with tofu and veggies</p>
