Hello, all! How’s your day going? Just starting? I wish mine was…see, I’ve been up for awhile, but haven’t had a smidgen of time to make breakfast for myself. Smalls ate, don’t worry (oh yea of little faith!).
So my empty stomach got me thinking. Sometimes mommy needs some help. A lot of help, or, more specifically, a lot of pre-made snacky goodness that I can use to fuel my day.
And so, I whipped up a batch of what I like to call power balls. They’re packed with protein, whole grain, fruit, and aren’t too sweet.
Smalls loves ’em, which is a bonus, too. Anything I can do to help give him some extra energy…like he needs it! Since he started walking, WOW!
That kid has BOUNDLESS energy. Seriously. Mamas, I know you know what I mean.
So. These power balls turned out pretty stellar this time, so I thought I’d share my recipe.
