Blueberries are so good! And you can also turn this superfood even more impressive by grabbing the family and heading out the door to pick your very own blueberries. It’s a simple way to get nutrients AND exercise.
If you don’t like to eat blueberries plain, simply add a handful or two to your smoothies. That’s a simple way to incorporate them easily.
Avocadoes are the best. Not only are they creamy delicious, but they’re so good on top of salads, burgers and even added as a secret ingredient to brownies. (seriously, they’re a good fat, so they do awesome in baking!)
I like to mash them up and add in some garlic powder and onions and create my own version of homemade guacamole for everyone to enjoy.
Don’t knock it til you try it! Kale is actually really great for you, and it’s super simple to incorporate into a wide variety of recipes. Some people like to wash it up and eat it raw as a salad, but if you’re not used to that texture, it can be a little offputting.
Others like to add it to their scrambled eggs in the morning or even dump in some kale leaves to their soup that is simmering on the stove.
And if you’re wondering if you can grow your own kale, my answer is going to be yes! Kale is actually super easy to grow and can survive a wide range of weather conditions.
Eating salmon is a great way to up your nutrients and feed your brain. Seriously, seafood is excellent brain food! You can simply steam it with a nice side of veggies or smoke it and have it that way as well.
Those are just some of the top superfoods that you can easily incorporate into your daily lives.
