So I started to track back and really think, what helps me beat the cold every year? Obviously, Texas doesn’t get as cold as Michigan but it should still apply!

With the cold weather here in full force, I want to do EVERYTHINGA I can to keep my immune system up! The only way you can make this happen is by supporting your system and being consistent with it. Cover Your Head

I LOVE to knit and it makes the winter bearable when I get to make my kiddos cute hats and scarves to keep them warm. I find some cute patterns every year and just knit away with different color wool to keep everyone’s heads warm!

Stay Active

Yes, I know it’s hard but it seriously is one of the best ways to beat the cold!

On Saturdays, we love to have family outings and since it is getting colder we’ve had to start looking for things to do indoors and the kids have been begging to go to the museum. It worked out great because the museum is huge and I’m running after my kids which means I’m definitely feeling the sweat coming on. (Reminder: Take  Emergen-C Energy +! )

Something I’ve been dying to do since moving to Michigan is ice skating! It’s so much fun to go with the fam, watching people fall on their butts AND stay active. One of my go-to’s is roller skating ( you know this about me! HAHA). Gosh, nothing beats going down to the rink and skating some laps!

It’s a Win-Win-Win!

No matter how cold it is, there are ways to beat the winter. All you have to do is get your favorite things to do, get creative and do it!
