Healthy On-The-Go Toddler Snacks

Raise your hand if summer keeps you and your family super, duper busy. When staying active is just part of life, you need to find ways to get good food into little bodies on the go…which can sometimes be a challenge!

I’m a huge fan of healthy, portable snack options that The Baby can feed himself. Sometimes I have time to plan way ahead, make my own bars, and pack the “go” bag (we’re way past diaper bags here!) in plenty of time.

Other days, I am literally throwing things into my bag hoping that I remembered everything. On days like this (which, let’s face…it’s most days lately), it’s important that I have access to healthy snacks for both myself and the kiddos.

And if I forget (like today), there’s always fast food…but that’s not healthy, and while it definitely has its place, it’s not something that I want the boys eating on a regular basis.

So what’s a mom to do? In my case, find something way better.

Today, I happened to run into Target to grab a few things for my new office, and remembered that we needed nighttime diapers. So off to the baby section we go. We happened to pass through the baby food aisle, and found something new (which is always a bonus when you have a toddler): Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) Snack.
