I started using the Le-Vel lifestyle products almost a month ago when I received a sample from a good friend. She knows how much I love natural products, and that I struggle to lose weight…plus being a mom and just sheer exhaustion. I thought I’d share with everyone how to use Thrive DFT By Le-Vel and how Thrive works.
How to Use Thrive DFT By Le-Vel
I’ve cleaned up my diet, and I am feeling better due to that big change, but I still struggled to get past the afternoon hours feeling semi-human.
Please note: Here at BREA we believe that the key to healthy weight and lifestyles is good diet and exercise. There’s no magic supplement, pill, or patch that’s going to get you there. Keep that in mind when you introduce any kind of product to your life or supplement to your diet.
How to Use THRIVE by Level
My sample came with some pretty simple instructions:
- When your feet hit the floor in the morning, take 2 capsules on an empty stomach (for those sensitive to caffeine you can start with one capsule a day and see how you feel).
- 20-40 minutes after your capsules, take one scoop of THRIVE shake mix with any fluid of your choice (milk, water, and pre-mixed protein drinks all work well).
- Apply THRIVE DFT to a lean area of the body (like your bicep, shoulder or calf) after cleaning and drying the area. Leave the THRIVE DFT in place for 24 hours and replace with a new DFT on an alternate location daily.
So let’s get down to it, shall we? I’m pulling these notes from my daily planner because I’m a super nerd.
How to use Thrive Day 1
I only took 1 Thrive capsule. I felt good. Not jittery or weird at all. Smalls informed me that I was “too happy this morning, mommy.” Not a bad way to start my week! I did not use the DFT Patch today.
How to use Thrive Day 2
This morning I took 1 capsule again. I wanted to slowly allow my body to get used to this new thing. I think that it was a smart move. I also had my first experience applying the Thrive Patch. Y’all-I had to remind myself to eat because I was Just.Not.Hungry.
How to use Thrive Day 3
Today I went ahead and took 2 capsules, then 20 minutes later had my Lifestyle shake (I just mixed it using a shaker cup and ice), and applied a new DFT Patch. I felt great, though slightly nauseous until I ate breakfast. After that, I cleaned the whole house because I needed something to do. And then I reorganized the boy’s clothes.
How to use Thrive Day 4
I took 2 capsules upon waking and also applied a fresh DFT patch to my inner wrist. I got lots of questions about it today! Also, I felt great-I missed my shake from yesterday, though.
I also realized that I only had one day left on my Thrive Trial, so I set up an account and placed my first order.
How to use Thrive Day 5
I took 2 capsules upon rising, and then made my shake 20 minutes later while I got the kiddos breakfast before school. We had a dance party and I put my patch on my shoulder today. I felt great except that forgetting to eat is a weird feeling, so I set an alarm on my phone.
How to use Thrive Day 6
Technically, this would be day 7 in real time, since my products took 2 days to reach me. Y’all that is fast! And shipping was cheap! Today, I did all three products again, and I felt awesome. Seriously. So much energy. I wanted to run around and play with my kids!
How to use Thrive Day 7
I feel amazing. I have tons of energy, I don’t feel like taking a nap at 10:00 a.m. (or 3:00 p.m. for that matter), and I am making better food choices if that’s possible. I still don’t get a “hungry” feeling, so I have my phone set for 3.5 hours after my last bite so I can make sure to eat properly to keep my metabolism stoked.
What Happened Next?
So. How do I feel about the Thrive Lifestyle? I liked it at first. My energy levels seemed to be solid, and I didn’t feel like crap at 7:00 p.m. after getting the kids into bed.
I was actually setting my alarm to get up early and workout. I will say that since starting Thrive, I’m more …um…regular (yes, I went there).
UPDATE 6/2016: I have since ceased my use of Thrive, as I did not feel that it was the best answer for me. Yes, I lost some weight. Yes, I had some increased energy, but when I stopped to think about it…I didn’t like that I was relying on a shake and patch to keep me awake and functioning.
Instead, I have been focusing on cleansing and nutrition, and my body is so much happier for it!
I am just starting my thrive experience I had the 3 day trial and couldn’t believe how great I felt, now I’m doing my 30 days…it’s amazing. .
That is fantastic!
Checking in… Are you still using? Week two.. Did you feel worse and then better again? I’m on day one searching and your blog came up!
I used Level for a full 2 months, and it did get easier as time went on. I switched to a nutritional cleansing program because I needed more structure and I wanted to lose weight more quickly. I hope that helps!
Sometimes there’s a detox process that can include headaches, nausea etc. I didn’t experience side effects.
Thank you for this article. I’ve read too many blog posts and reviews about Thrive that seemed too positive. I’m on Day 2 of my trial and I am not sure if I want to continue at this point. Yesterday, I was so nauseous all day and shakey even though I ate properly. Today, while still a little shakey, I’m not as much as yesterday. I also have a decent headache. I’m hoping today and tomorrow get better, but if they don’t, I think I’m done.
Brew what nutritional and cleansing program did you use?
I been thriving for almost 2 weeks dont feel any different drinking only water all day im not sleeping at night but a couple of hours im not having any energy and still want to take a nap mid day I dont think it working for me and YESSS im doing it correctly capsule soon as my eyes open 30 min later I drink my shake and put my patch on but still im not getting anything out of my experience
My first day with pills, lifestyle mix and patch was the only good day I had. Since I started I’ve experienced some headaches, nausea and heartburn everyday and no sleep. But I still get sluggish around 6:30 PM . That was my whole purpose, better sleep. My sleep is different though, it’s worse. 3 -(4 hours if I’m lucky) tops. I don’t think this is for everyone. I went in with high hopes but it did not work out for me.
