Traveling Tuesday: Recipes, Fitness, and Inspiration From Around The Web

Happy Tuesday! Since I’ve been sick for about a million years, I’ve had a lot of time to look for awesome ideas! Now, because I was quite limited on what I could actually eat…most of today’s post is food. Sorry about that. but it’s healthy, yummy food…

…so maybe you’ll forgive me?

Let’s get started.

Do you wish your kids would eat healthier? What about eating dirt?

If you’ve ever met me, you know that I’m a bit of a salad dressing snob. I prefer to make my own dressings, preferable with fresh seasonal ingredients. Add in an avocado, and I’m DONE.

Both of my boys are obsessed with muffins. Obsessed I tell you! If I can make it into a muffin shape, they’ll eat it (which is why I make meatloaf muffins!). This quick and healthy muffin recipe was delicious and (you guessed it) quick!

You may remember a time when I was vegan, and I really enjoyed recipes that emulated the foods that were “off limits”…like these yummy vegan nachos.

I’m a smoothie lover. It doesn’t get much better than some blended fresh fruit and veggies first thing in the morning. Because that’s pretty much off limits until July 1st (thanks Whole30!), I’ll be living vicariously through all of you.

Raise your hand if you love guacamole!

Me.Too. It’s definitely the 8th wonder of my world. And I can’t believe that I never thought to just use Lime Essential Oil when I don’t have a lime in my fridge! No more guacamole tears for me!

I love working out. And I love my boys. I also love when a plan comes together. Recently, Smalls got his very first workout DVD, and he’s LOVING it. It’s kid yoga, and it’s all because of this article.

Y’all know how much I love to clean and organize, which is why the thought of decluttering my bathroom (admittedly my biggest challenge!), makes me absolutely giddy. It’s definitely on my list this week!
