Happy Tuesday! Fun fact about me: Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. Odd, I know, but hear me out! Monday is gone, and we’re in a routine, the kids are usually happy, and there’s learning happening in my house. And, I’m two workouts into my week. Plus, I’ve done all of my food prep, so I’m covered there.
And, since Tuesday is my favorite, I thought I’d use today to share a new weekly feature that I’ll be doing called *drumroll* Traveling Tuesday!
Brilliant, right?
I know, I know.
Here’s what I’m loving this week:
There’s a certain 4 year old in my house that LOVES watermelon (if you follow my Instagram, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about)…so when I came across this awesome watermelon coconut cooler recipe from Nom Nom Paleo, I knew they’d be a hit!
I don’t know about you, but my kids LOVE popsicles, and since I’ve been rocking the Whole30 (check out my Facebook Page to see what I’m eating!), I am trying to transition them over to a semi-Paleo diet (Smalls may never give up string cheese without a fight!).
This receipe for tropical ice pops fit the Paleo bill, and the kids won’t know the difference!
I have a love affair with eggs, and this caramelized onion and red bell pepper frittata recipe looks to die for (and that’s saying a LOT since I have a ton of favorite frittata recipes!)! I need to pick up a copy of Everyday Detox!!
And now for some motivation! I’ve been working really, really hard to maintain a positive mindset, but sometimes, it’s just hard, which is why when I saw this post from Everyday Paleo, I knew that God was giving a little boost.
I love finding a good book, and it’s even better when a good book becomes fitness inspiration!
You may remember that I’m flexibility challenged, which is probably why I’m drawn to this tutorial on how to do a better split.
Have I ever told you that I dream of Crossfit? Well, I’m not ashamed to admit that I do. Thankfully, PaleOMG makes sure that I get my weekly workout in…even if it’s vicariously.
I’m always looking for new workout music, and I do great with running tempos, but I hadn’t found a yoga playlist that really resonated with me…until this week, y’all.
And, of course, I can’t leave out my mamas!
We all know how precious our time is when our babies are little, and I love finding quick workouts like this 7 minute HIIT workout!
I loved doing baby led wearing with Smalls, but with The Baby, it wasn’t quite what I had anticipated. So I was thrilled to see an article all about how to modify baby led weaning this week!
That frittata recipe DOES look absolutely to die for.
I need to eat breakfast haha.
