Easy Gluten Free Bagel Recipe With Everything Seasoning On Top
I know, I know. I’m supposed to be cutting back on carbs. …but I’m a rebel, Y’all. And this past week I have been craving bread as my life depends on it. So I finally cracked down and decided to figure out how to make a freaking everything bagel. Because they’re my favorite.
AND, the kids won’t eat them because they’ve got “weird stuff” on top (which is fine with me, thankyouverymuch). I don’t know what it is about everything bagels, but Y’all. They are my kryptonite.
Maybe it’s because my daily breakfast when I was barista-ing (that’s totally a word, by the way) was a Chonga bagel (cheddar, onion, garlic), or maybe it’s just because I really, really enjoy all the seedy goodness.
It’s a mystery.
What is not a mystery is how much I WANTED A FREAKING BAGEL this week. And since I’ve yet to run across any pre-packaged gluten-free bagels that pass muster, I decided to try making my own.
You know what? They turned out totally awesome. And, if I really thought about it, I could totally DIY a Chonga bagel next time by adding a slice of cheddar, freeze dried onions, and some garlic powder.

Recipe is confusing. Is 1/2 cup water part of the 1-1/4 cups listed or over and above.? Same with the egg. Does an egg go in the dough or do you just use the egg white. Poorly written recipe.
