Who else is ready to head out camping? I have some incredible kid-friendly campgrounds in Michigan to consider! I know that we are seriously excited to actually go TENT camping this year.
The Best Kid-Friendly Campgrounds in Michigan
After living in Texas for almost 10 years, I’m ready for cooler weather and less poisonous things. I’m also really, really excited to take our HUGE tent outside and unplug for a few weekends this summer.
The catch is that there are kids to worry about.
I get it. Not everyone is a fan of camping in the great outdoors.
In our limited experience, while the idea of camping is super exciting (at least for my boys).
Once we get there? They’re BORED, MOM!
Best Kid-friendly Campgrounds in Michigan
They want a toy that was left at home.
Or their tablets (that have been up on a shelf since Christmas because they both lost their dang minds over them).
They want to go bug the people across the way.
It’s too hot.
Too cold.
The hot dogs that they picked out are now DISGUSTING. (Need camping food? Try this recipe.)
I mean, I love my boys, but it’s enough to make me want to stay home.
SO.
In an effort to not lose my mind during our weekends away (I really, really want to unplug and spend time outside, ride our bikes, read a book, sit around the campfire…), I started doing some research.
I wanted to find the BEST kid-friendly campgrounds in Michigan.
Not just the so-so ones.
I thought that I’d share my finds with you, in case your kids are like mine.
