There are lots of diets out there. In fact, I’ve done most of them. I’ve done Weight Watchers, Atkins, Paleo, vegan, vegetarian…it’s a long list, and I don’t want to bore you. This isn’t like those diets and many people ask: “What Is Nutritional Cleansing?”
What Is Nutritional Cleansing?
I’ve even jumped on the “cleanse” bandwagon a time (or three)…from the Lemonade Diet (Master Cleanse) to juice cleansing and even a 3-day SeuroViv cleanse. But I had the same results with nearly all of them-I was hangry. All the time. And dizzy. I didn’t sleep well, and my stomach felt like it was in the middle World War 3.
Not something I enjoyed, and not something I want to repeat, thankyouverymuch. So naturally, when I heard about nutritional cleansing…let’s just say I was more than skeptical.
Remember, I’ve tried dozens of diets and cleanses and none of them seem to work. I always gain the weight back and then some! My past diets were were either complicated or really, really expensive over the long-term.
That being said, earlier this year, I came across something called “nutritional cleansing”…and it got me thinking.
Now, I had never heard of such a thing, but I was curious, and I wanted to find out what it was all about.
What Is Nutritional Cleansing?
During a nutritional cleanse, you are creating the ideal conditions for the body’s cleansing and detox processes in a short period of time.” -Alejandro Junger, MD
To me, a true nutritional cleanse releases the junk that’s trapped in your body. And the truth is, we’re all in need of a solid plan. We’re eating diets full of processed, high sugar, and high fat foods which leave behind metabolic waste in your body.
This waste interrupts the normal hormonal fluctuations of your body-that’s not good, people! When your hormones are off, you end up with the perfect environment for breeding illness as well as an uphill struggle to lose weight.
A nutritional cleanse is kind of like hitting the reset button on your health.
Traditional “cleanses” (as I’ve mentioned above) usually consist of severely restricting calories and nutrients. This means that you end up feeling weak, sick, and dizzy all the time. Check out another one of my favorite cleanses here.
In contrast, true nutritional cleansing is a safe way to get the metabolic waste out while putting quality fuel into the body. Nutritional cleansing means you are consuming quality calories. This helps promote a better environment for toxin loss. And yes, you’ll be eating fewer calories, but because of dense nutrition, you will be fueled and functioning normally.
A Different Approach
Using a nutrition-based approach (rather than simply counting calories or using laxatives to produce short-term results) for total body cleansing, you can achieve impressive, lasting results when you have the right support team. In fact, I would go so far to say that weight loss is a side benefit of nutritional cleansing.
Personally, I have lost 25 pounds over 3 months following a nutritional cleansing system, and plan to use it to fully release all my excess weight. Myself and other people also experience increased energy levels, clearer skin, improved digestion and enjoy better overall health while following a quality nutritional cleansing program.
I now ONLY recommend this cleanse to my clients and website visitors.
