Ingredients For Kale Chips Recipe
- 1 Bunch of Kale
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1-2 tbsp Ranch seasoning
- Parchment paper
Directions For Kale Chips Recipe
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.
Thoroughly rinse and dry the kale leaves. Make certain that you really get the water off. You don’t want soggy kale chips!
Remove the middle rib from each kale leaf, and then cut it into slightly larger than bite-sized pieces. (The rib pieces are hard and chewy – nobody has time for that.)
Keep in mind that the kale leaves will shrink up with they are cooked so when you cut them bigger, they’ll still be bite-sized for the most part.
Once you have them cut up, place the cut kale leaves into a large mixing bowl.
Pour in 3 tablespoons of olive oil, and toss to combine. (This is a great step for the kiddos to help with!)
Add in 1-2 tablespoons of the Ranch seasoning mix, and toss again to combine well. (Smells so good!)
Lay the kale pieces out in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet
. You don’t want them to overlap or they won’t become crispy.
Bake for 10 minutes and take out of the oven. Turn the kale leaves over, and then bake for an additional 10 minutes. You are wanting to get both sides crispy!
Serve immediately or store any leftovers in an airtight container.
