Happy, happy Monday, y’all! Last week was rough around here. Ish was gone at a conference, which meant that I was parenting alone (and decorating on a bum leg). I’m getting a bit more mobility, which is awesome, but it still hurts like the dickens when I try to do too much.
In fact, as I sit here on Sunday night typing this, my right ankle, or rather the ligaments and tendons around my right ankle, is spasming. It sucks. I’ve been icing and elevating. Thank goodness I go see the Orthopedic Doctor today. I think I may need some physical therapy to get my range of motion back. Maybe.
We’ll see. I also realized that while I can get back on skates next month…it won’t be until the end of January. {insert ugly cry here} I’m trying to focus on the positive-better safe than sorry, right?

Wednesday
Workout: Beginner Pilates (highly modified) + Upper body:
- 1x 10 “girlie” push ups
- 2x 10 bicep curls with 10lb k-bell
- 2x 15 tricep extensions with 5lb k-bell
- 1x 15 shoulder presses with 5lb k-bell
- 1x 10 shoulder raises with 5lb k-bell
- 2x 10 bent over rows with 10lb k-bell
- 2x 10 chest press with 10lb k-bell
Breakfast: Shake
Lunch: Shake
Dinner: Caesar salad with grilled chicken
Thursday
Workout: Core:
- 50 supported sit ups on my Bosu
- Hip dancing
- TAM standing ab work
- 25 Clamshells
- 25 bicycles per side

Lunch: Leftover soup
Dinner: Shake
Friday
Workout: Rest day

Dinner: Homemade pepperoni & black olive pizza with a green salad
Saturday
Workout: 1/2 mile walk around the neighborhood + v-ups

Lunch: Shake
Dinner: Gluten free chicken strips with sautéed brussels sprouts

Workout: Tracy Anderson Method Mat Workout-on the mat section only
Breakfast: Shake
Lunch: Shake
Dinner: Italian Marinated Flank Steak with steamed green beans and cauliflower soup
