Take 3 Minutes & Wash Your Face

wash your faceOne thing that I was NOT expecting as a new mom was the out of control teenage-drama acne that suddenly appeared all over. I’ve always had very clear skin, so I was at a total loss.

Most cleansers dried me out, and the lotions made it worse…not to mention that because I’m BREASTFEEDING, I can’t use a lot of the products out there-they sink into the skin and get into Smalls’ supply. NOT good. I’d nearly given up – using my makeup to cover my shame. Yup. Shame.

Then, I was contacted by bareMinerals about doing a product test and review. I didn’t even consider saying no, since I’ve been using their makeup for YEARS and L-O-V-E it.

It always looks natural. It’s so funny to me because Ish always tells me how pretty I look ‘without’ makeup (we’ll just keep it our secret, okay?). Back to the point:

bareMinerals Skincare: Just WASH YOUR FACE

I’ll admit that I was a bit apprehensive to use something new, especially since I had such a terrible experience with every other product, but I was wrong to be worried.

I’ve only been using the new line for a week, and my skin is already clearing up! Did I mention that this is NOT an anti-acne product?

bareMinerals new Naturally Luminous skin care contains the RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex, which has been clinically proven to deliver faster cell turnover, smaller pores, increararemineralssed luminosity, and softer, smoother, younger-looking skin.

And, y’all? IT DOES.

I am loving the products that I’ve been using, which are just the tip of the iceberg: the purifying facial cleanser, purely nourishing moisturizer, and firming eye treatment.

The line also tackles wrinkles, blemishes, night treatments, and neck cream. If those work as well as what I’ve tried, then we all have something to look forward to.

But the best part? It takes literally 3 minutes each day-cleanse in the shower, moisturize, and then repeat at night.

Simple, fast, efficient, AND it’s giving me MY skin back!

This is not a paid post. All opinions are my own. I received a sample product to test and review.

I’ll have to give them a try! Love anything and all things natural. You are right to be cautious and selective with your products, the skin absorbs more than people realize. I always freak when I see ink on my babes fingers!

Tea Tree oil is so good for acne as well. My teen uses it everyday 🙂
