Staying fit and living a busy life often don’t go hand and hand. Being a student, a worker and even a friend make having a consistent fitness regimen near impossible. This post is for the working moms, students and whoever else just doesn’t have the time to hit the gym. I’m here to share with you some tips on how to make this happen.

I’ll just be honest with you: I hate working out. Finding the motivation to do any sort of exercise after a long day of work is not an easy thing to do. I don’t do gyms. I have asthma and A.D.H.D. so doing any sort of workout on my own is difficult. I am a yoga, Pilates, workout class type of person and fitting those into the schedule that I have just doesn’t happen.

When I don’t have time to get to a class, I look to Pinterest to find some simple workouts. Websites like FitSugar are some of the best for easy, yet effective exercises that are for everyone. Following blogs like Blogilates are also great.

Blogilates has monthly workouts laid out for you. Their beginner’s workout guide lays out a month of workouts that specifically lay out which videos to watch every day. You can get a full body workout from the comfort of your own living room floor.

Get Creative

Start doing mini workouts whenever you can. Brushing your teeth? Do some squats. Lying on the couch watching Netflix all day long? Do some crunches and leg raises.

The opportunities are endless. Fit in the little workouts whenever you possibly can! Type lazy workouts into Pinterest, and you’ll find a ton of different ways to incorporate mini exercises into your daily routine.

The World is Your Gym  

The whole world might not be your gym, but it might as well be. If you don’t have a gym membership or any equipment to use, you can easily substitute them with household items. A simple kitchen chair can be your best friend.

Did you know that it was possible to do a full-body workout with just a chair? There are lots of free barre workouts that you can do with one!

You can check out this website for a simple how-to. If you don’t have any weights, a can of vegetables can be a simple substitute. The opportunities to workout at home are endless!
